Personal Development & Mentoring

“What a man can be, he must be. This need we call self-actualization.”

— Abraham Maslow

Personal Development

*Emphasis on PERSONAL… Each person has a unique set of needs and circumstances they must address in order to achieve a sense of fulfillment and self-actualization in life.

The hurdles, past traumas and limiting beliefs are all specific to that individual and must be addressed as so.

There is not one answer that solves the equation of homelessness. Many supporting factors add up to the solution.

“You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.”

— Jim Rohn

Functional Support Team

The participant of personal development is supported fundamentally by addressing each level of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs:

  1. Life Coach: Case manager for planning and physiological needs

  2. Doctor: Safety/security, overall health and well-being

  3. Friend: A voice of reason, sense of love and belonging

  4. Therapist: Resolving past traumas and current hurdles related to mental health and self-esteem

  5. Mentor: Guide toward fulfillment of career ambitions and cognitive learning
